Both of them realized the young girls are all victims of vampires in their community and wager out a neighboring bar to find the offender.
On the last episode of Supernatural Season 6, that is on Episode 6 - You Can't Handle The Truth, Dean and Sam explore on a series of deaths where the victims had everybody telling them the unkind truth about their own selves, leading them to cut their own life. Dean becomes suspicious of his brother since he can remembered him seeing Sam allowing the vampire on the previous vampire to attack with no other protection. While on their way, they both believe that somebody is using Gabriel's Horn of Truth to strengthen those people to disclose the truth reluctantly. On the last part, they discovered that Veritas, the goddess of truth is the one responsible for all the mess.
